Formatting for submission-ready dissertations and journal submissions
I have edited hundreds of academic texts and find that most manuscripts have formatting issues. Errors often arise during word-count changes, revisions, and re-submissions. I can fix your table of contents, check the manuscript’s heading structure, format your reference list and in-text citations, check if all the references have been cited in the text (and vice versa), and check overall formatting for university of journal compliance.
I offer three categories of editing
- Formatting for consistency
- Formatting + university/journal compliance
- Formatting + university/journal compliance + cross-checking references and in-text citations
Note, reference cross-check does not include reference verification, checking DOIs, URLs, author details, etc. I only check whether all the references in your reference list have been cited in the text and whether all the in-text citations have been added to the reference list. If not, I will flag missing, duplicate, and unmatched entries.

- A flat fee negotiated up front based on your formatting requirements
- My fee +30% for a fast turnaround
- My terms: 50% deposit before I start formatting and the remaining 50% on completion.
